Customer and Trader Terms and Conditions
1. Application of conditions of use.
By accessing or using any part of the website gittgo.co.uk or any variation thereof you agree to be bound by the following conditions of use. If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, you may not access or use the Website.
2. Copyright, trademarks, and database rights.
We own all intellectual property rights in and to the Website (including the database, design, text, graphics and layout) and the software used therein and the names and marks “Gittgo” and “My Gittgo” “easy data analytics” and you agree not to use or copy the same or any part thereof without our consent. In particular, you acknowledge that we own all rights, including trademark, service mark and allied rights.
3. Definitions
3.1. “Company“ means Gittgo and also content relating to (us, our, our, we) means Gittgo limited. Gittgo is registered at Epsilon House, West Road, Ipswich, IP39FJ, England. Company number. 12847905
3.2. “Customer” means any person who submits a job request through the site for the trades person to see and act upon.
3.3. “Member” means any person who has paid to join the Gittgo members club and have their company details published via our website for other members to see.
4. Disclaimer
(a) Whist Gittgo will do its best to ensure tradesmen, suppliers and companies listed on the Website are legitimate, have all the appropriate qualifications, have strong reputations, are members of recognised trade related bodies, organisations and associations and that the information on this Website is accurate and not misleading, the listings are compiled from information supplied to Gittgo from the trade and service members and we cannot be held responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in such information or for the suitability or quality of any services or goods supplied by such third parties listed on or linking to the Website.
(b) We reserve the right to reject, remove and/or amend advertisements text graphics or other material submitted for inclusion on the Website which in our opinion is obscene, defamatory, infringes the copyright or other rights of any third party, or which is illegal or does not meet our standards.
(c) Interactions between organisations and individuals. We accept no liability for any transactions which take place between you and any parties listed on the Website.
Your interactions (including payment and delivery of goods or services and/or any other terms of agreement) with organisations and/or individuals found through the Website are solely between you and such organisations.
You agree that Gittgo shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings. If there is a dispute between you and another Customer/Tradesperson on this Website, or between you and any third party, you understand and agree that Gittgo is under no obligation to become involved.
(d) You agree to indemnify us for any loss we suffer as a result of any action brought against us as a result an entry by you on the Gittgo Website, the material contained therein, or any service or product supplied by you. We do not accept any liability for any feedback posted on the Website from people who engage you through the Website.
5. Reviews
Tradespeople understand that Gittgo is not responsible for any Feedback that Customers post, or any harm done by such content. A Customer who posts Feedback is directly responsible for its Content and the accuracy/legality of any such Feedback.
We perform a number of checks on Feedback with the aim of ensuring that Feedback is authentic and posted by a genuine Customer who has had a service undertaken through the gittgo website. We have the sole discretion to remove Feedback that appears to be fake or unjust but make no claim or warranty about the accuracy or authenticity of any Feedback. Gittgo may, at its sole discretion, also remove Feedback at the request of the person leaving the review.
You shall indemnify Gittgo from any claim for libel and/or defamation caused by content posted on the Website by you or any related third party. This clause shall survive the termination of this Agreement.
6. Our Rights
We reserve the right at all times to edit, refuse to post, or to remove from the Service any information or materials for any reason whatsoever, and to disclose any information we deem appropriate to satisfy any applicable law.
We research the right to be able to share members data and contact details with other members of the Gittgo platforms including email, Mobile/landline telephone, survey information. By agreeing to the terms you will be automatically added to the WhatsApp groups which you the member can opt out of at any time by contacting Gittgo.
We reserve the right to restrict your access to the Service at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever and in the event that we suspect you to be in material breach of any term of these Terms of Use or if you are not adhering the members pledge, promise and standard of excellence.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue temporarily or permanently all or part of the Service with or without notice without liability for any modification or discontinuance.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to the Gittgo club based on the research that we have gathered on your suitability as a member.
7. Termination of membership
7.1. You agree that Gittgo, at its sole discretion, has the right (but not the obligation) to deactivate your account, block your email address, or otherwise terminate or restrict your access to or use of our Website. We may do so immediately and without notice to you, for any reason, including if Gittgo believes that you have acted inconsistently with the spirit of this Agreement.
7.2. You agree that Gittgo will replace your position in the club and place you into the wider directory if you miss 3 consecutive events without just reason.
7.3. You agree that Gittgo shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination or restriction of your access to the Website.
7.4. You agree not to attempt to contact Gittgo members with reference to the service giving cause to infer that you as still a member of the Gittgo club.
8. Failed and disputed payments
You agree that gittgo has no legal responsibility and is not answerable to any dispute or non-payment between you and another member of the Gittgo club.
9. Refunds policy and cancellation and term of membership.
You can cancel your membership by contacting us at go@gittgo.co.uk. You may cancel your membership within the first 14 days, this is your obligatory cooling off period. In which case you will receive a full refund of any Membership Fees paid.
After such time, your membership will last 12 months from the launch date of your club or for a period that is agreed in writing between you and the company. Should the company offer you a grace period of membership whilst the club is fully formed, this will be agreed in writing.
9.1 Monthly Subscription Memberships – You may cancel your membership within the first 14 days, this is your obligatory cooling off period.
9.2 The minimum membership period is 6 months.
9.3 After 6 months you can cancel your membership by giving 30 days notice by filling out the unsubscribe form here.
Gittgo recommends staying with the club for a minimum of 12 months, attending networking events to have the opportunity to form quality business relationships.
